A well-established SME finance business with a strong entrepreneurial focus is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Manager to join its executive leadership team. This is a senior, hands-on role offering broad exposure across the group and meaningful involvement in strategic decision-making.
Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, the Senior Financial Manager will take full ownership of the accounting function across multiple entities within the group, while partnering closely with Exco and senior stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
Full management of the finance and accounting function
Leading and mentoring the finance team
Monthly management reporting and annual financial statements
Managing audit processes and external stakeholder engagement
Ensuring IFRS compliance across the group
VAT and income tax returns, including SARS queries
Budgeting, cash flow management and forecasting
Preparing reports for Exco, Board and funders
Oversight of key financial processes and controls
Project management across finance-related initiatives
Insurance-related financial matters
Ad hoc senior finance responsibilities
