Introduction

A well-established and leading manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Senior Creditors Clerk to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with strong reconciliation skills and experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

Manage the full creditors/accounts payable function for local and foreign suppliers.
Process supplier invoices, credit notes, journals, and payment allocations.
Perform monthly supplier reconciliations and resolve account discrepancies.
Prepare weekly and monthly payment runs.
Monitor supplier age analysis and ensure timely payments.
Liaise with procurement, stores, and production regarding purchase orders, GRNs, and supplier accounts.
Assist with inventory-related reconciliations and manufacturing supplier accounts.
Support month-end processes, VAT reconciliations, and audit requirements.
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies and financial controls

Experiences & Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Bookkeeping, or a related field.
Minimum 4 years’ experience in a Creditors/Accounts Payable role.
Manufacturing or FMCG experience is essential.
Experience managing high-volume supplier accounts.
Strong knowledge of accounts payable, reconciliations, and financial controls.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
ERP system experience will be advantageous.
Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
