Introduction

Well know gambling Company is looking for an organised, detail-oriented and confident Debtor Clerk to join their finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing retailer accounts, processing payments and ensuring the timely collection of outstanding balances.

Duties & Responsibilities

Create and maintain accurate retailer accounts, including opening new accounts and reviewing credit limits.
Process and allocate incoming customer payments.
Prepare and distribute retailer invoices and statements accurately and on time.
Reconcile debtor accounts and investigate discrepancies.
Monitor outstanding accounts and follow up on overdue payments via telephone and email.
Liaise with customers to resolve payment queries, billing issues and account-related matters.
Maintain strong working relationships with retailers and internal stakeholders.
Manage multiple tasks while ensuring deadlines and timelines are consistently met.

Experiences & Qualifications

Grade 12 / Matric.
Accounting or Bookkeeping Diploma or Degree.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar Debtors / Accounts Receivable role.
Experience working with accounting systems such as SAGE or similar accounting software.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
Ability to multitask and manage a high volume of emails, accounts, files and deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
