A well-established logistics company is seeking a Cost & Management Accountant to join their finance team. This role is ideal for a commercially minded finance professional with strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control within an operational environment.
Prepare and manage annual budgets and rolling forecasts
Analyse operational costs and profitability across business units
Monitor variances and provide detailed management reports
Support strategic decision-making through financial modelling and insights
Work closely with operations to improve cost efficiency and margins
Assist with month-end reporting and financial performance reviews
Proven experience in budgeting and forecasting, ideally within logistics, transport, or supply chain
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Advanced Excel skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
