Introduction

Our client is looking for a hands-on Billing & Collections Manager to take full ownership of billing accuracy, debit orders, collections performance, and credit control.

This is a high-impact role for a strong finance professional who thrives on driving cash flow, tightening processes, and leading a disciplined, high-performing team.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Own the full billing and collections cycle
  • Ensure accurate invoicing and on-time debit order runs
  • Drive collections performance and reduce overdue debt
  • Enforce and strengthen credit control policies
  • Manage debtor age analysis and accelerate recoveries
  • Handle billing and payment queries efficiently
  • Report on collections, cash flow, and risk exposure
  • Lead and develop the debtors/collections team
  • Work with internal teams and legal on escalated recoveries

Experiences & Qualifications

  • Degree/Diploma in Finance, Accounting, or similar
  • 5+ years in billing, debtors, or collections
  • 2+ years leading a team
  • Strong experience with billing systems (Sage or similar)
  • Proven track record in debit orders, collections, and credit control
  • Solid understanding of credit risk, reconciliations, and reporting
