Accounts Payable Supervisor

Duties & Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the daily operations of the Accounts Payable department.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the Accounts Payable team.
• Ensure the accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices, credit notes, and payments.
• Review and approve supplier reconciliations and payment runs.
• Monitor AP ageing and resolve outstanding supplier queries.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, financial procedures, and internal controls.
• Manage the onboarding of new suppliers, including verification of supplier documentation.
• Maintain accurate vendor master data.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare reports on accounts payable performance and cash flow requirements.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and increase operational efficiency.
• Work closely with Procurement, Finance, and other internal departments to resolve discrepancies.
