Introduction

Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional with strong debtors experience? A well-established manufacturing company is looking for a Junior Accountant (Debtors) to join their finance team.

Duties & Responsibilities

Full-function Debtors / Accounts Receivable
Daily invoicing, credit notes, and receipt allocations
Customer credit applications and debtor insurance administration
Weekly pallet tracking
Rebate and discount allocations
Bank reconciliations, journals, and general ledger reconciliations
Assist with month-end and year-end processes
Prepare management reports and maintain the fixed asset register
Inventory reconciliations and stock variance investigations
Support manufacturing cost accounting and production reporting
Assist with VAT reconciliations and audit preparation

Experiences & Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
3–4 years’ accounting experience
Previous experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment is highly advantageous
Experience with inventory or cost accounting will be beneficial
Strong Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting system experience
Excellent reconciliation skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
