Introduction

We are recruiting for a hands-on and detail-oriented Accountant to join a growing Manufacturing Giant based in Pietermaritzburg. The ideal candidate will have strong Management Accounting experience and be confident in full financial functions.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prepare Management Accounts and monthly financial reporting packs
  • Analyse and finalise Income Statements
  • Prepare and monitor budgets and forecasts
  • Manage cash flow reporting and analysis
  • Review monthly payroll submissions
  • Assist with audit preparations and financial compliance
  • Provide financial insights to support business decisions

Experiences & Qualifications

  • BCom Accounting degree (essential)
  • Completed SAICA/SAIPA articles (advantageous but not essential)
  • Strong understanding of Management Accounts
  • Experience working with Income Statements, Budgets and Cash Flow
  • Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical ability
